By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. This website is information, not therapy
Everything on this site, including the podcasts, guides, and videos, is general educational information. It is not medical or mental-health advice, it is not a substitute for care from a professional who knows your situation, and reading it does not make you a client of Sabrina Duong PLLC. A therapist–client relationship begins only when we have both signed a written service agreement after an initial consultation.
2. If you are in crisis
This website is not monitored around the clock and cannot help in an emergency. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (United States and Canada), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
3. Who can be a client
Sabrina Duong is licensed to provide therapy to people located in Maine and Florida (United States) and Ontario (Canada). Contacting us from elsewhere does not create any obligation to provide services. Therapy for anyone under 18 requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
4. Booking, fees, and insurance
Fees and accepted insurance are listed on the Fees & insurance page and may change. Booking and insurance verification for Maine and Florida are handled by Grow Therapy under its own terms. Under the federal No Surprises Act, self-pay clients in the United States are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs; see our Good Faith Estimate notice.
5. Email and contact
Email is not a secure channel. Please do not send health information by email. We aim to reply to inquiries within one business day, but email is not a way to reach us in an emergency.
6. Your use of the site
You may read, download, and print material from this site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, or sell it, remove any notices from it, or use the site in any way that is unlawful or that interferes with its operation.
7. Content and ownership
The text, images, podcasts, guides, and videos on this site belong to Sabrina Duong PLLC or are used with permission. Guest contributions to the podcasts remain the property of their creators. Podcast platform names and logos are trademarks of their owners.
8. Links and third-party services
This site links to services we do not control, including Grow Therapy, Psychology Today, podcast platforms, YouTube, Kit, and social networks. Their content and terms are their own. A link is not an endorsement.
9. Accuracy
We try to keep this site accurate and current but do not promise that it is free of errors or that it will always be available.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sabrina Duong PLLC is not liable for any loss or harm arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability that arises from a therapist–client relationship under its own written agreement.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what this site collects and how it is used. Our Notice of Privacy Practices explains how client health information is protected.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [LAWYER TO CONFIRM: whether to add an Ontario clause for Canadian visitors.]
13. Changes
We may update these terms at any time by posting a new version with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
